A few weeks ago I decided to go back to the future - back to my very roots 40 years ago when technology was new, fun and understandable.

Everything is just SO MUCH these days.
It’s like back in the 80’s when you could (and did!) work on your car and do things like, I don’t know, get a new carburetor.
Which in my case led to my car catching on fire in a Kmart parking lot in Huntington Beach. The point was the EXPERIMENTATION and EXPLORATION.

We used to have that with computers and technology. We still do in so many ways but sometimes you just want to go back to basics.

Enter Microcontrollers. In my case it’s the Raspberry Pi Pico. It’s a little board that has 40 pins, runs python and is just as simple as it can get. That doesn’t mean there is a small mountain to climb. There is! But once you get the gist of the thing, it’s experimentation and exploration time.

The well goes deep as well, but you can choose your own adventure.
